Kyara Dagnino Cretin is a student intern at UI Ventures and will be starting her freshman year at the University of Iowa in the Fall of 2024. She plans to pursue double majors in Creative Writing and Marketing within the Liberal Arts College and Tippie College of Business.

Kyara is eager to collaborate with the UI Ventures team and enhance her entrepreneurship skills. Her role involves supporting the Office of Innovation and UI Ventures by supporting Faculty and Staff as they develop new ideas from research to use on the market. During her internship, she hopes to learn about funding for new startup businesses and make valuable connections that will help contribute to her success as a student and in the workforce.

During her sophomore year of high school in San Diego, California, Kyara interned at Cushman & Wakefield, a Real Estate company, as an Administrative Assistant. There, she managed inventories, conducted company feedback surveys, and streamlined workflows to boost employee satisfaction.
